The Senior Student of the Year award is a $1250 college scholarship for a student in good academic standing, who demonstrates ongoing community volunteerism and provides a short essay describing how the student follows one or more elements of the Optimist Creed.  One scholarship will be granted to a Windsor High School Student and a Severance High School Student.

The Marvin Harris Memorial Scholarship is a $2500 award to a student who can demonstrate good community citizenship and plans to attend a 2-year community or technical school after graduation.  This is open to both Windsor High School and Severance High School Students.

The Club also presents the Female and Male Athlete of the Year Award (which consists of a plaque but no scholarship).  This goes to the female and male WHS athlete who has achieved the highest level of success in various sports throughout their athletic career at WHS.
